There is the old rundown smell of a very trafficked hotel there.
The business office has no privacy, and outdated technology but thank God it worked!
Nova and I slept very peaceful. Very nice to stay while in town..It is funny I got the same room that her sister and I stayed.. great memories!
The quality of hotel is on the lower end of the scale, but that has nothing to do with the great people that work there.
The hotel staff are very friendly, very helpful, and all seemed very genuine when you had a need.
This was quite unfortunate to have to write this review, because the staff was so friendly and the beds were comfortable. The young lady that worked the breakfast service was amazing. In the future it's best to air on the side of being cautious and just leave your pets home!
However the hotel was not up to Holiday inn standards. Over the last 10+ years I have stayed in many.
My family traveled from Chicago to attend the opening game for Arkansas State. We reserved 2 rooms for our family and pets. When I first entered the room, located on the first floor; I said to my Mom, "They have carpet in their pet friendly rooms?" Without even giving it another thought, we stayed for 2nights. That was about the second or third week in September. Fast forward to today 11/6/17 and we have just battled a flea infestation!!!! My vet attributed it to our stay at HI, based on the life cycle of a flea. I have had my dog for 10 years and NEVER ever had a case of fleas,mange, ticks or anything of that nature! We had to treat our 2 dogs, throw away any contaminated bedding and flea bomb our homes and garages. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT...IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!
My family and I recently stayed at this hotel for a Regional (multi-state) little league baseball tournament. I write this review after having a wonderful experience as the very friendly and accommodating staff went out of their way to welcome us and provide hospitable service. They even baked cookies for us and during late hours, as we gathered up in the breakfast area for team games and fun. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely look forward to returning in the future! Thank you to the wonderful staff -- they made a big difference in our stay!
I would highly recommend staying somewhere else, but you might drop in to see and meet all the nice hotel staff there at the Holiday Inn.
